21-58 days. Grow your own mesclun to create beautiful salads just like those at your favorite restaurant! This exciting mix of butterhead, leaf and romaine lettuce will jazz up any meal. All varieties in our gourmet mix remain wonderfully tasty, even picked at full size. Contains equal parts: Buttercrunch, Black Seeded Simpson, Green Salad Bowl, Lolla Rossa, Red oak Leaf, Rouge d’Hiver.

Thinning: Not neccessary for baby greens

When to sow outside: RECOMMENDED. 2 to 6 weeks before average last frost, and successive sowings thereafter every 3 weeks until 2 weeks before the fi rst fall frost. USDA zone 8 or warmer, sow in fall for winter harvest.

When to start inside: Anytime for fresh mesclun year-round! Grow on a sunny windowsill or under grow lights.

Harvesting: Harvest individual leaves at 2" - 4" tall for a continual supply. If you wish to harvest as heads, cut off at 2" above ground level as soon as possible after head forms; new leaves will grow from the center. The earlier the harvest, the more tender the crop.
