When to sow outside: RECOMMENDED. 2 to 6 weeks before average last frost, and successive sowings thereafter every 3 weeks until 2 weeks before the first fall frost. USDA zone 8 or warmer, sow in fall for winter harvest.
When to start inside: Anytime for fresh mesclun year-round! Grow on a sunny windowsill or under grow lights. (Sun produces best color)
