Annual. If you could capture rays of sunshine and plant them in your garden, you would end up with these magnificent fully double radiant beauties. Breathtaking cut flowers! Perfect for a sunny hedge, screen, or border. Goldilocks would have to don sunglasses if she ran across these flowers in the bear's garden! Larger-flowered than Teddy Bear, the Goldy Honey Bear has thick, sturdy stalks that stay upright without staking. Green centers appear as the flower opens. As it matures, the blooms become fully double, solid gold, and surrounded by sun-like ray petals. Very impressive! In ideal conditions, these nearly pollenless flowers may grow so large that one will fill an entire vase. A long-blooming fantastic display for a flower border, hedge, or screen.
When to plant outside: RECOMMENDED. Sow in spring after the average last frost date.
When to start inside: Sow 4-6 weeks before average last spring frost. Start inside only if previous problems with birds eating planted seed outdoors. Plants grow more vigorously if sown directly outdoors.
