Melon Honey Dew Sweet Delight Seed
Cucumis - melo
$1.69

Sweet Delight Honeydew is nothing like the store-bought variety - the wonderful, vine-ripened flavor of this sweet, juicy melon is almost wine-like. The 8” x 7” fruits weigh between 7 and 8 lbs. and have a light green flesh and exterior. Vine-ripened melons develop their full sugar content in the last few days. Sweet Delight has a unique indicator for ripeness – gold spots appear on the top of the fruit when it is ready to pick. This packet plants: One 40-foot row.
When to plant outside: Spring, 2 weeks after the average last frost date and when soil temperatures are warm.
When to start inside: (Recommended for cold climates) 4-6 weeks before the average last frost.
Special Sowing & Germination Instructions: Melon seedlings don’t transplant well. If you start them indoors, use individual pots such as peat pots that can be planted directly into the ground. Only start indoors if you live in a very short summer climate.
