Scabiosa

Scabiosa, also called pincushion flower, has a delicate appearance with whimsical, frilly skirts of petals and long, wiry stems—perfect for cutting and arranging in bouquets. Some varieties form attractive, papery seed pods that look beautiful in dried arrangements. Long blooming and fairly drought tolerant, they are an excellent addition to a pollinator garden, beckoning to bees and butterflies, as well as mixed borders or rock gardens.
