The deep, rich color of 'Beaujolais' is sensational paired with pastel sweet peas. Spencer-type sweet peas have large flowers and sturdy, long stems which makes them ideal for bouquets and table-top arrangements. They also bloom over a longer period, sometimes into fall, where summers are mild.

Plant Dimensions: Long-day annual sweet peas start blooming after the spring equinox, as days lengthen, and continue as long as nights are cool, and days are not intensely hot.

Variety Information: 1"–2" deep burgundy flowers with ruffled petals.

Nice color for bouquets but not a lot of scent so I likely will go with my old standby black knight next time.

These sweet peas are wonderfully fragrant! They have a beautiful russet color and very pretty! Pollinator friendly as well!
