Easiest Seeds to Grow

5 out of 5 stars Apr 18, 2020
I am not sure how these seeds could ever be rated one star. They are by far among the easiest seeds to grow. Botanical Interests provides perhaps the most thorough sowing instructions of any seed company out there. I have been growing these seeds for years. All you need to do is take a handful, broadcast them, water them and wait a week for them to come up. By the end of the season, you will be blessed with tall stems adorned with non stop flowers. Many pollinators will appreciate their presence and as an added bonus, they don't need a ton of water to thrive. For anyone on the fence as to whether to order from Botanical Interests, don't be. I have been buying from them for years and always have nearly 100% germination. Just follow the instructions and you cannot go wrong.

Nice variety of cosmos

5 out of 5 stars Jul 3, 2021
I generally plant a whole variety of cosmos every year and added this one to the mix last year. It did well and grew tall and strong. I liked the coloration on the petals just like the drawing shows. I always start my cosmos from seed indoors and transplant them out when the weather is warmer and had great germination success with these.

The BEST Cosmos are Candystripe

I love all Cosmos, but the Candystripe Cosmos are on a whole new level. Long stemmed and bushy 4' x 4' display of light and dark pink striped blooms. Seed packet picture does not do it justice. Healthy and carefree. Just deadhead regularly. Bees and butterflies love these stunning flowers.

WOW!!

I have never had such large lovely Cosmo's in my life. They are like small saplings and tall. Beautiful addition to my wild section of the garden. Will definitely get another seed packet for next year and plant them down in an area I call 'nobody's land" between the river road fence and mine. Thanks.

I sowed these and kind of forgot about them, which resulted in... well not much. I will try these again, because the few blooms produced were very nice.
Joshua from MO
Owner Response: Hi Joshua, Re-using yard flags is a great way to mark new sowing so they get watered consistently! Happy gardening!

These did not sprout well and once sprouted did not grow well.
