multi-purpose millet

first time ever growing this plant. I grew in a flower bed with the hopes of harvesting the millet to feed my parakeets. These were a beautiful addition to the garden - growing over 5 ft tall! Multiple millet stalks emerged late in the season from one plant. The birds devour it. It also did well in containers, but only about 4 ft tall. Will buy again.

Out of the whole pack of seeds, only one stalk has grown. However, the one is absolutely stunning! A beautiful grass for bouquets etc.
