Grow these in very large pots and they add a classy country look to our cedar sided house.

multi-purpose millet

first time ever growing this plant. I grew in a flower bed with the hopes of harvesting the millet to feed my parakeets. These were a beautiful addition to the garden - growing over 5 ft tall! Multiple millet stalks emerged late in the season from one plant. The birds devour it. It also did well in containers, but only about 4 ft tall. Will buy again.

Out of the whole pack of seeds, only one stalk has grown. However, the one is absolutely stunning! A beautiful grass for bouquets etc.

Great for fall displays and decorations. Nice visual contrast to other plants and an upright structure that doesn't get too big.. Very hardy and thrives in hot climates. Low water requirement.

After a 1:5 peroxide rinse -- sitting 15 min.., then rinsed with plain water -- 100% of seeds germinated overnight - moist paper towel, in dark, warm spot!
