Love these!

I purchased a pack of the California poppy seeds at a store locally last spring. I spread them over a patch of ground in my backyard, and they just went wild, in a beautiful, wonderful way! They grew so well and provided so much beauty. I took picture after picture of them to share with family and friends and marvelted at how they closed their blooms every evening and reopened them in the sunshine the next day. I gathered a lot of the seed pods at the end of the season to share and there are so many on the ground that I am hoping these will replenish themselves exponentially in the coming season.
