These seeds did great. I managed to grow a few great plants this year. Flowers were smaller than expected, but gorgeous. Most were salmon with a couple of brighter pinks too.

Can't get this seed to germinate

I have tried this aster three times, following the directions for depth of seed and timing, and have succeeded in getting two plants out of three packets. I want to grow this pretty aster so badly. But I give up.

Owner Response: Hi Kathy, We are sorry you had difficulty with this seed. We are happy to offer assistance troubleshooting germination, just shoot us an email. For best results, we recommend sowing these indoors, in warm soil (over 65 degrees F) and very shallowly (1/8"). At this shallow depth, they can dry out quickly so it is important to keep an eye on moisture as seeds cannot recover from drying out. A customer service agent will be contacting you by email. Rest assured, our seeds are tested regularly by a third-party laboratory to ensure germination rates meet federal and our own standards prior to packing them. Happy gardening!
