Talinum Jewels Of Opar Seeds

Talinum Jewels Of Opar Seeds

Talinum paniculatum

Item #1282

Annual. This tough but beautiful gem may have been named after the Tarzan novel of the same name by Edgar R. Burroughs. The “jewels” are the shining crimson seed pods that follow the pink flowers and last all season. Tuberous roots allow this plant to show off its shiny, succulent leaves and showy flower stalks in even the toughest conditions. Great for containers, cut flowers, and drying. Tender perennial usually grown as an annual in all but mild climates.
