Perennial, grown as an annual. Doesn't the name tell all? Snapdragon lovers will have to have the royal 'Black Prince' gracing their gardens. The foliage turns bronze as the weather cools. Snapdragons bloom heaviest in cool weather, taking a break in the heat of summer, returning to full bloom in the fall. Usually grown as an annual, although perennial in USDA zones 5 and warmer. Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant.
