57 days. Did you know that grocery store baby carrots are actually cut from regular sized carrots? Once you try the sweet flavor and crisp bite of this 3” true baby carrot, you will never look back! Though it tastes great fresh from the garden, Little Finger was developed in France for pickling & canning whole.

This packet sows four 10-foot rows.

Row Spacing:

When 1" tall,
thin to 2" apart

When to sow outside: RECOMMENDED. 2 to 4 weeks before average last frost. Successive sowings: every 3 weeks until 60 days before first fall frost. In very warm climates, carrots are grown primarily in fall, winter, and spring.

When to start inside: Not recommended

Harvesting: For best flavor and texture, harvest Little Finger carrots at their optimal size of 3" long. Peak harvest period lasts about 3 weeks. Late summer sown carrots are sweetened after having been kissed by light frost, but please harvest before soil freezes, which would destroy the crop. If you live in a climate that doesn’t fall below 20°F, you can leave carrots in the ground for storage provided they are heavily mulched, and harvest as needed.
