Biennial. Flat-leaved parsley adds a fresh, tantalizing flavor to many foods. The flat leaves are easy to chop, and often preferred by cooks for their robust flavor. Parsley is thought to improve the scent and health of roses and the growth of tomatoes and asparagus when grown nearby. Considered to aid digestion. Can be grown indoors for fresh parsley year round.
