Alfalfa sprouts are one of the most popular of all sprouting seeds. They are nutritious; high in protein, essential amino acids, digestive enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and (when exposed to light) chlorophyll. Alfalfa sprouts add lively flavor and texture to tossed salads and sandwiches. The culinary possibilities are limited only by your imagination!
Sprouting is as easy as 1—2—3! Simply soak your seeds in water overnight (about 8 to 12 hours), place them in your sprouting container, then rinse at least twice daily until sprouts have reached the length you desire. See inside of packet for more information about growing sprouts.

Sprout Seed Safety: To ensure you are purchasing the safest possible sprouting seeds, a sample from each lot we receive is sent to an independent laboratory where it must test negative for foodborne pathogens including Escherichia coli (E. coli), Salmonella, Listeria, and Staphococcus aureus (Staph). For maximum safety it is recommended that you disinfect the outside of your seeds and your sprouting container prior to sprouting.
