Fenugreek sprouts are not usually found in grocery stores, so by growing them yourself, you can have these delicious, nutritious sprouts anytime. Add to sandwiches and salads, juice with vegetables, mix into potato salad, or add to sushi, rice, and pasta dishes. The seeds are packed with essential vitamins (A, B6, C), minerals (iron and potassium), and various health-promoting phytochemicals. Save some seeds to grow a plant or two and enjoy the young, tender leaves in any way you would use other greens.
Sprouting is as easy as 1—2—3! Simply soak your seeds in water for 8 to 12 hours, place them in your sprouting container, in a warm area (70°F), and rinse at least twice daily until Fenugreek sprouts have reached 1"–2" in 3 to 4 days. Sprout Seed Safety: A sample from each seed lot we receive is sent to an independent laboratory where it must test negative for foodborne pathogens including Escherichia coli (E. coli), Salmonella, Listeria, and Staphylococcus aureus (Staph).
