First time growing these and what a treat they are. They grew extremely well. Colorful, tasty, and no splitting even after heavy rains and excessive heat. Will grow again.

Beautiful, delicious and productive!

I love planting whimsical plants in our garden and I love Bumblebee cherry tomatoes. I can just imagine that these glowing, striped fruits are multicolored, bumblebees visiting blossoms. The plants are not only vigorous and healthy, but are very productive and offer delicious, beautiful fruit. I planted each color of Bumblebee cherry tomatoes seeds and they all grew and thrived.

Very disappointed in every way.

Started 6 plants from seed in early April (I live in California) and not one plant is over 3 feet tall. Very few blooms and no tomatoes yet. My other tomatoes are growing and producing so it seems to be this tomato type. I would not recommend. I've never had such a poor performing tomato.

Absolutely gorgeous tomatoes that deliver both color and flavor. A great balance and sweet tropical and acid. Will definitely be growing these next year again.

The packet is supposed to have 15 seeds IIRC. My packet contained 12. Of those, only 6 sprouted. Of the 6 sprouts, only 4 became viable plants. Only one of the plants put out more than 3 tomatoes, with one plant never setting fruit. They were all red, no yellow or purple. The fruit themselves weren't bad but those variety is a waste of money.

Very slow growing

We tried growing these artisan bumble bee cherry tomatoes in zone 6, started them inside and transplanted to a raised bed. They grew very slowly. We ended up getting a high yield of green tomatoes that we had to bring inside to ripen on the windowsill instead of vine ripening. The yellow and purple had a good flavor once they matured (never got red?), but we ended up sacrificing a lot of fruit that was either lost to frost or never ripened inside.

We LOVED these tomatoes last year. They were flavorful and prolific. My only complaint is that my packet contained 2 purple seeds, 3 pink seeds, and the rest were yellow. I wish we were able to buy each variety separately.

Germinated well

The seeds are so lovely with their color coated seeds. But double check your seed count. Mine only had half of the amount listed on the info. so I ended up only getting a couple plants established rather then the 12 they said. Still I would buy this variety again! The plant transplanted well and has dozens of blossoms. I'm excited to try this crack resistant cherry tomato!

Owner Response: Dear Tanya, Thank you for taking the time to notify us of this mistake. We are very sorry your packet was short seed and we will be happy to send you a replacement. That is not the quality we guarantee! We are happy to hear the seeds you did plant germinated and produced well for you. Enjoy those tomatoes!

Not the best...

I tried two different methods to get the seeds to germinate and none of them did.. i soaked them and and I did the paper towel method. Although I was excited to get this variety in hopes that I could do something to get these to germinate.
Adonna from TX
