Also called florist silver dollar, 'Baby Blue' is a florist's staple. Long stems with rounded leaves in shades of dusty green, sometimes with purple highlights are excellent for a bouquet filler, wreath base, and are very sturdy when dried. With heady, menthol-like fragrance, it is widely used in aromatherapy, potpourri, as a pest deterrent, and much more. Perennial in USDA zones 9–11; also grown as an annual. As an annual, plants reach about 24"–42", but it can become a 35'-tall tree over time where perennial. Drought tolerant once established, heat tolerant, and rarely bothered by pests. Deer resistant.

Beginner gardener in an Arizona zone 8 growing area, I fall sowed all 40 eucalyptus seeds between 2 packets. 34 seedlings sprouted, so germination was very high for me so I’m not sure what happened for the people who said they had none sprout. We’ll see how the seedlings do when I get them in the ground outside but I have a feeling I will end up with a LOT of eucalyptus trees.

I cant specify this specific plant’s results, but so far I’ve had fair germination rates (I am still learning, so I can’t say if the issues are seeds or gardener!)

Things I like- seed packet has all the information you would want on it

Things I’d change- I wish the top opened and resealed better on the packet.

Baby blue has been a vigorous grower so far! They take awhile at the beginning but these seedlings are ready to be potted up. The scent they give is wonderful too. Hoping to use in bouquets and shower bundles next year!

I have had a wonderful experience with this company. When the seeds I first bought didn't germinate, because of my error, they set me up with a horticulturist and she was able to give me some great tips. Plus they sent replacement seeds. They went above and beyond for me. I will continue to purchase from them. Thank you again for a amazing experience.

None of my seeds have came up. They gave great instructions and information but sadly didn't germinate.
