The bold purples of this petite petunia with 1½"–2" variegated flowers will make your hanging baskets pop. No two blooms are exactly alike; color patterns continue to change as they react to seasonal temperature and light variances. The plant's habit is compact, mounded, and spreading–perfect for patio containers, window boxes, and hanging baskets. Grown as an annual; although perennial in USDA zones 10 and warmer. The extremely small seeds are pelleted with a clay-based product for ease of handling.

Should have checked the reviews before buying. Like others, while they only provide 10 seeds, who knows how many were actually in there when more than the package is mostly dust. We'll see how the few that i could plant do. Disappointed.

It was so delightful growing these purple petunias. They were germinated very quickly and were so pretty. I grew them as a gift for my mom. I ended up keeping them for myself to enjoy in my garden. But this year I will grow some again and actually deliver them as planned.

As others have mentioned, mostly dust and crushed remnants. And even if they were intact - only 10 total?

Would be surprised if this actually germinates…

I was hesitant to buy these seeds based on the reviews, but since I generally have great success with petunias and I trust the quality of this company, I decided to order. My only suggestion, like others, the pelleted coating was crushed. Putting them in those tiny seed tubes instead of a small tinfoil bag inside the packet, would solve this issue 100% .

A few of the seeds were intact, the rest I sprinkled in one 3" pot, and the rest did germinate there, and I separated successfully. Was thrilled with the amount of plants that made it to blooming size (petunias in general don't always have the energy to take off in early stages, but only had one do it so I feel that was appropriate.

Overall happy with these seeds and wouldn't hesitate to buy again. But, would love to see better storage methods for the seeds, even if it meant an increase in price to accommodate. Would be worth it. 😊

I have been gardening for 50+ years and I am so disappointed in this packet of seeds. Although it says that the pack contains 10 seeds, mine only contained 5 and of the 5 seeds I planted, only 1 has germinated so far.

At the price of $5.49, I feel that I wasted my money. I would have been better off buying plants at a nursery.
