    Disappointing Colors

Most of the plants had blossoms that were muddy, muted, and bland,. There were a few plants with lovely burgundy blooms, but none of the other colors shown on the package. I pulled the non-burgundy plants. Disappointing.

    Hey CG,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Purple Emperor Trailing Nasturtium Seeds. We're really sorry to hear that the colors didn't meet your expectations and that most of the blooms appeared muted rather than showing the vibrant variety you were hoping for.

Nasturtium flower colors can be influenced by several growing factors including soil conditions, temperature, and sunlight exposure. Rich, fertile soil can sometimes produce more foliage at the expense of vibrant blooms, while slightly stressed conditions often encourage more intense flower colors. We're glad to hear you did get some lovely burgundy blooms from a few plants, though we completely understand your disappointment that the full color range wasn't represented.

Thank you for giving them a try and for sharing your honest feedback with other gardeners. Your experience helps us understand how our seeds perform in different growing conditions. Keep on growing 🌻️

If you want a "pink" nasturtium

Years ago grew one and have been looking for the elusive pink one. After much searching, I gave this seed mix a try and I got all shades of dusty pink, orange-pink, blush, to pinkish, to red-pink. Was very vigorous and took over the boulevard.
