Did you know pollinators help us by pollinating a third or more of the food we eat? Precious Pollinators mix provides food and nectar to a wide range of pollinators, including insects, butterflies, and moths. Colorful mix with varying heights and bloom times of annual and perennial flowers and herbs, many of which are native to North America.

I bought this for me and my littles to throw around our apartment to add some color, we ended up with BEAUTIFUL zinnias, sunflowers and others- the only issue I had with this was the ABUNDANCE of borage. While we love the blue peppery flowers, there seemed to me an “infestation” of borage. (We can only eat so many) Other than that, we’ll be doing again! Regardless of the borage overflow

It sounds like your growing conditions were perfect for borage - maybe a little too perfect! We appreciate you mentioning this because it's helpful for other gardeners to know that borage can be quite the prolific performer in the mix.
The great thing is that borage is actually wonderful for attracting beneficial insects and pollinators, so even if you can't eat all those peppery flowers, they're definitely doing their job for the local ecosystem. But we understand that balance is key when you're looking for a nice variety of different blooms!
It's so wonderful that you're planning to do this again despite the borage takeover. We can't wait to hear how it goes!

We live in Grass Valley,Ca and have quite a bit of land. I care for probably 50 indoor plants. We have wild gooseberries and blackberries as well. Tomatoes have also done well here.
