About Shishito Chile Pepper Seeds
Capsicum annuum
2"–4" long, thin, medium green, slightly wrinkled, some curved. Flavor is citrusy and slightly smoky. About 90 percent of shishitos will be mild, but the others will be slightly hot. Scoville heat units for 'Shishito' are 50–200, making the occasional hot pepper quite mild.

~80% germination rate. Shishitos have been my most productive of the season! Grew two plants on a back patio with ~6 hours of daily sun, one in a 10 gallon pot and another alongside 3 different pepper plants. They began producing the earliest and were not targeted by pests nearly as much as the other peppers. Great, very mild pepper. The occasional hot one can be very surprising. Each ripe pepper does NOT have many seeds compared to other varieties, if saving seeds.

Order arrived on the 31st of August. I started the seeds with the paper towel method, and all seeds germinated in just 2 short days. Currently September 7th, and I have seedlings.
Package said around 10 days for germination. Nope. Seedlings within a WEEK.
Maybe I just got lucky. But I'd like to think these were some of the best seeds I've ever ordered.
