Red & Yellow Pear Blend Pole Cherry Tomato Seeds

Solanum lycopersicum

This heirloom blend brings you both red and yellow, firm fruit that can be eaten like grapes all summer long. Sweet, mild flavor and low acidity make these tomatoes traditionally best for pickling and preserves, but they are great for salads and snacking, too. 'Red Pear' seeds are dyed red, while the 'Yellow Pear' seeds remain natural so you know which color tomato you are sowing. Vigorous vines easily reach 6'.

    Hey Christine,

Thank you for sharing your experience with our Red & Yellow Pear Blend tomato seeds! It sounds like they were just taking their sweet time to germinate - sometimes these little pear tomatoes can be a bit slower to get started compared to other varieties like Roma. We're so glad both ended up sprouting for you! That means you'll get to enjoy a nice variety in your garden this season. The pear tomatoes are definitely worth the wait with their sweet flavor and adorable shape. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are committed to ensuring your experience is positive. Thank you once again for your input. Keep on growing 🌻️

The yellow pear tomatoes seem more vigorous than the red but I had a real problem with them splitting 2 years in a row.

Not only did both tomatoes germinate, they gave me loads and loads of tomatoes, and when a few tomatoes fell on the ground, they reseeded on their own and came back the next year!
