Effortless watering with a patented design. Just fill the top water reservoir and let the planter do the rest of the work. Its patented watering system distributes the right amount of water to each tier to keep every plant hydrated from top to bottom.
Room to grow almost anything. Intentionally crafted with 7” deep pockets so you can grow a wide variety of plants like herbs, leafy greens, strawberries, peppers, flowers, and even root vegetables.

Specifications
The GreenStalk 7-Tier Vertical Planter has 42 planting pockets, each with a 7 in. depth.

How to Use
- Fill each tier with high-quality potting mix (garden soil, top soil, and raised bed soil are not recommended).
- Plant your seeds or seedlings. Choose your favorite herbs, vegetables, or flowers.
- Water from the top. Fill the top water reservoir until water starts dripping from the bottom. The patented watering system will evenly distribute water to each pocket.
- Maintain watering. Depending on your plants and the season, refill the top reservoir anywhere from daily to once every couple of weeks. Check the soil regularly to see when your plants need water.
- Enjoy your new vertical garden. Watch your plants grow and harvest your fresh product, all from a compact space.

FAQ
Q: What plants are best for the GreenStalk 5 Tier Vertical Planter?
A: There are very few types of plants that aren't good in the GreenStalk at all -- you can't grow 2' long Daikon radishes in them, for instance! But a wide array of vegetables, strawberries, flowers and herbs grow well in the GreenStalk Vertical Planter.
Q: How much soil do I need?
A: Each Original Tier holds 1 cubic foot of potting mix (about 8 gallons/30.3 liters). Each Leaf Tier holds 0.8 cubic feet of potting mix (about 6 gallons/22.7 liters).
Q: Can the GreenStalk Vertical Planter be used indoors?
A: Our planters can be used indoors. We recommend adding grow lights based on your growing environment, and adding a GreenStalk Mover or Ultimate Spinner would be a necessity for ensuring water doesn't drain out onto the floor. Please note that water cannot be held for an extended amount of time in either GreenStalk Base and should be allowed to drain into another container.

It's great to hear that you've had success with the 5-tier version. Every garden setup is different, and finding what works best in your space is what matters most. Have you thought about purchasing another base and creating a 2 tier. It makes a nice compliment to the 5 tier. That's the great thing about these, you can configure it to different heights that suit you.

I grow a garden, but wanted to have a planter close to the kitchen, so I can have access to fresh herds and a quick salad without needing to put my garden boots on ;). So this is currently sitting on the back deck, with afternoon sun. I rotate it every so often, since one side is shaded by the house.
I planted seedlings as well as seeds into the little pockets. I'll say I do prefer the seedlings, as I need to hand water the pockets to help seeds germinate, and that can be a little messy.
So far I'm having a lot of fun and enjoying all that is growing.
