There's something so exciting about watching your carnation seeds develop and seeing which one will be the first to reward you with that gorgeous bloom! The berry color sounds absolutely lovely - the Chabaud Blend really delivers such a wonderful range of beautiful colors, and it sounds like you got one of the real stunners right off the bat.
We love that you're growing multiple carnations from seed - what a rewarding project that's going to be as more and more of them start blooming! Each one will probably surprise you with its own unique color and personality. Chabaud carnations are such wonderful flowers because they give you that classic carnation beauty with those ruffled petals and lovely fragrance, plus they're surprisingly good growers from seed once they get established.
