My dahlia seeds all germinated! I believe the key is warmth & light. I placed my tray (18) after germination atop our pellet stove with a towel underneath the tray with light from the room! Just beautiful, cannot wait until they flower. In the evening I would place them back in my seed room on a heat mat. Repeated daily with a spritz in the evening. I've only lost 2 (my fault). So excited to place them in the greenhouse around May 15th & then the gardens by Memorial weekend!💖

These were so easy to start, amazing germination and they have been so easy to tend to. They are lush and doing so well. Highly recommend starting dahlias from seed. Way lower cost than tubers and an early kick off to my short growing season.
