I had a hard time getting this to bloom over the years so I put it in a pot and set it under a lilac tree. It only gets morning sun. Is doing great!

I absolutely LOVE this variety of Sweet William! I grow them every year to add to my garden, as they are biennial. They bloom in their second year, in the spring; and they are the most beautiful, mophead flowers! Almost like a hydrangea. They are show stoppers. I started a flat in late July for fall planting in zone 7. They’re vigorous, healthy and had great germination. I planted them in beds 2 weeks ago and they continue to take off. I can’t wait to see them bloom next spring.
