    Didn’t survive the heat

Easy to get going and looked beautiful when it was lush and green but unfortunately, it didn’t survive the heat. I live in Orange County, CA. I wanted to use it as an alternative to lawn, planted back in October 2025. It’s all dead now in August 2026, I was watering 3 times a week and my water bill was through the roof, even then, this mix died.

    not easy shaker

I thought the top of the lid would have perforated holes to actually shake the seeds out. I gave it to my 10yr old to spread the seeds, and he ended up dumping most of the seeds in 1 spot. And, unfortunately, nothing grew.
