    Sweet flowers!

My first time growing these cute flowers. I grew them in my dining room on a heat mat with a grow light and had a terrific germination rate! They started blooming in the house, It's been fun watching each bloom unfold. While most of mine have been shades of yellow, the scarlet and bicolor purple and white have been delightful. I've been loving the variety of markings as well. At a time when I was really growing weary of winter, these little rays of sunshine brighten up my days! I have already added them to my cart for next year.

    They need tons of time

I remember being shocked at how few were in the package when I planted in seed starting trays back in October. They took forever to sprout but I kept taking care of them until I finally saw a little baby.

Those little babies stayed at two leaves for weeks so I finally added grow lights and BAM they took off. I just potted them up today and I am this close to seeing my first flower. Be patient!

    Threw Them Away

The almost 25 seeds are supposed to be pelleted since they are so small. When I opened the packet the contents appeared to be dust. I could not tell what was or was not a seed therefore I couldn't sow anything. I informed BI of the problem and my action. They did not offer to replace the seeds to determine if it would happen again.
