    Amazing, but not 'BUSH'!

These are incredible performers- but are definitely FAR outdoing the description of 18-24" tall and appropriate for a patio pot. I would recommend leaving MUCH more room. I planted two of these in a raised bed, and they are loving their lives. Made the mistake of not providing anything more than a single stake, but these have become well over 3 feet tall and are throwing arms all over the place. I've had to put in a full trellis and spent the weekend wrangling them. They are absolutely COVERED in 'juicy toms'. They are nice large cherry tomatoes that are perfect for salads because they are big enough to slice in half (so you don't have to chase them with a fork while they roll all over your plate). Nice typical flavor, nothing super special, but solid and tasty. Patio gardener beware, though--if you really have super limited space, these might be too big for you-ha!

    Hey Bryn,

Thank you so much for this incredibly helpful and honest review! I love how you've captured both the amazing productivity of these tomatoes and the reality of their true growing habits.

You're absolutely right - these vigorous plants definitely have bigger ambitions than the typical "bush" description suggests! It sounds like yours are thriving beyond expectations, which is fantastic but definitely requires some strategic planning. Your experience with needing to upgrade from a single stake to a full trellis system is such valuable insight for other gardeners.

Those "juicy toms" that are perfect for slicing sound absolutely delicious, and I can just picture your plants absolutely loaded with fruit! The fact that they're substantial enough for salads without rolling around your plate is such a practical bonus.

Thank you for that important heads-up to patio gardeners about space requirements - that kind of real-world feedback helps fellow gardeners make the best choices for their setup. And despite the extra wrangling, that 5-star rating tells us these beauties are definitely worth the effort!

    Keep on growing 🌻️

    Thriving

I planted one in my yard and one on my dad's deck and so far they are far outperforming any of my indeterminate ones in the same locations. Can't wait to try them!

Very healthy, prolific…first tomatoes of the season. One caution: gets taller than I thought. 😅

I bought these for my Greenstalk planter. I transplanted one on the side of my planter, and man oh man…it took off! I’m not sure if it was the happy frog soil or what…but this baby has some vigor! The Greenstalk one has already grown up several tiers and is much bigger than what I had imagined a “patio” mater would be…but it is wonderful all the same! It’s May and this little beauty is already covered in blooms and tiny maters! 🤩 I plan to keep a few of these around each year just for how well they seem to perform!

I don't know why I thought they would be small

These guys are low key insane. I haven't gotten to harvest from them yet, but I have never seen so much fruit on a plan this early. They are bananas. I don't know why I believed they would have a small habit - I even planted one in a smaller pot in hopes of making it even smaller. They have ignored my wishes - they are quite large, sprawling...I am now just trying to contain them before they invade the potato grow bag and overwhelm the potted fig tree I have. lol But it's a good problem to have I suppose!

    Super Producer.

I grew 2 plants of this variety in 5 gallon grow bags and they were for super productive for me. Harvested a lot of tomatoes that I didn’t know what to do with them all.
