"Quick Snack" cucumbers were meant to grow in 6"-8" pots, indoors, on sunny windowsill, counter tops, or balconies. Because they are parthenocarpic, they do not need pollinators to produce fruit. These cucumbers taste best when picked 1.5"-2.5" long and have dark green, smooth skin. Look inside the packet for full growing instructions.

Growing Info

Harvesting: Pick, and pick some more! Overly mature cucumbers on the vine will slow production of new cucumbers. Cut the stem rather than pulling at the fruit, as stems are fragile

Special Care: When grown indoors, sow a group of 2 seeds per one 6"-8" pot. When seedlings have 3 leaves, thin to 1 plant per pot. Plants will require a small trellis in the pot to keep the plants climbing upright. When the plant reaches the top of the trellis, pinch the vine and allow the plant to spread width wise. Pinching will help the plant put energy into producing more fruits.

Planted in October in northern Wisconsin in 1 gallon pots indoors. Every seed germinated. Every plant is producing. Enjoyed our first winter homegrown cucumber-tomato-parsley salad in December when it was 1 degree outside. Crunchy and wonderful!
