Rainbow Blend Coleus Seeds

Plectranthus scutellarioides

Coleus is an excellent houseplant that will add color to those dreary winter days. In the garden, its white, bronze, gold, copper, yellow, pink, red, and purple foliage will brighten up shady areas that typically are hard to grow flowers in! Also great for containers and planters!

    Good germination

These were started indoors and germinated nicely. They are almost big enough to put in the garden.

    Ok

They have sprouted but aren’t growing very fast. Not sure how fast they are meant to grow.

    Hey Val,

Thank you so much for this helpful 4-star review and for sharing your experience with the Rainbow Blend Coleus Seeds! It's great to hear that they've sprouted successfully - that's always an exciting first step.

Coleus can definitely take their time getting established, especially in their early stages. They tend to focus on developing their root systems first before putting energy into that beautiful foliage growth we all love to see. Once they get going though, they really take off and those gorgeous rainbow colors start showing up.

Temperature, light conditions, and even soil warmth can all affect their growth speed, so don't worry if they seem to be taking their time right now. Your patience with them will definitely pay off once they hit their stride!

Thanks for giving them a chance and for sharing your growing experience with other gardeners.

    Keep on growing 🌻️
