    Slow initial growth, excellent results

While I got nervous at first about how slowly the two I planted were growing, they started to pick up the pace after a few months and are now beginning to branch! The plant pictured is actually just a few days post repotting, and it shrugged it off like nothing happened. Great seeds when given time!

    Hey Ezra,

We totally understand that initial nervousness with rosemary - they definitely like to take their sweet time getting established! It's so exciting to hear yours have picked up the pace and are starting to branch now. It looks really healthy in the photo. Thanks for sharing your rosemary growing journey and reminding fellow gardeners that good things come to those who wait! Keep on growing 🌻️

They sprouted but then got stunted

I was so excited that I had almost a hundred percent germination. However, after they sprouted they stayed stunted. After two months, they’re still only an inch tall with one set of leaves.

    Hey Audrey,

Thank you so much for this detailed 2-star review of the Rosemary Seeds! It's fantastic to hear that you achieved almost 100% germination - that's really impressive and shows you did everything right with the initial sprouting process.

I can totally understand your frustration with the stunted growth after such a promising start. Rosemary can be notoriously slow and finicky in those early stages, but staying at just an inch tall with one set of leaves after two months definitely sounds like they've hit a roadblock. There could be several factors at play - lighting, soil conditions, watering frequency, or even temperature - that might be keeping them from taking off.

Your experience is really valuable feedback for us and other gardeners who might be starting rosemary from seed. It's one of those herbs that can be incredibly rewarding once established, but the seedling stage can definitely test your patience more than expected.

    Keep on growing 🌻️
