The thick, white stems and glossy, dark green leaves are tender and crisp. Tolerates warm weather better than full-size types. Small plants are ideal for growing in containers.

When to Sow Outside: RECOMMENDED. 2 to 4 weeks before your average last frost date, when soil temperature is at least 60°F; ideally 75°–85°F. Sow again in late summer for fall crop. In Mild Climates, sow in the fall for winter or spring harvest.

    Toy Choy grew well, popped up fast and formed a cute little plant that was ready to harvest fast, nice to fill in gaps late in the season.

    These Toy Choy Bok Choy's are so adorable! Five days before Thanksgiving in the Atlanta area and I am harvesting these. They are great in stir fry and salads. I will be using these in a spicy tofu soup. They grow very compact so you could do these in a container or half whiskey barrel planter. I will be planting these minis and the larger Choko Bok Choy again in the spring.
