Carrots
No one loves carrots more than our Botanical Interests mascot, Buddy (Judy and Curtis' dog). He'll often be found pulling them out of the garden unannounced. Fortunately for him, carrots are good sources of vitamins A, B, and C, and antioxidants. Once used to color butter, the dye obtained from carrots, called carotene, is quite strong; it has been reported that people who eat large quantities of carrots may take on some of the color in their skin. Perhaps you really "are what you eat"!
