    Seed Germinating

A lot of people don't realize that you have to SCORE and SOAK the seeds to get the best germination rate. The outter pea shell on the seed is very tough and hard for seedlings to break through. Once scratched/scored the seed will need to be soaked at least overnight to 24 hours, if they do not swell after being soaked, try to score it a little more and soak again until its swelled up. Then plant as normal or do the paper towel method. Do not let them be too wet during germination after soaking or they will rot. Hope this helps. :) ~ A very obsessed butterfly pea vine grower.
