All three of these delectable sweet peppers start out green and then sweeten as they transform into their ripe color, although delicious at any stage. Heirloom 'Yolo Wonder' (red color seeds) turns bright red and is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus. 'Coral Belle' (natural color seeds) turns intense orange, and 'Canary Belle' (yellow color seeds) turns a brilliant yellow. These 3½"–4" hefty peppers grow well in containers too.

The heirloom Yolo Wonder from this pack grew INCREDIBLY WELL outside Houston, Texas zone 9a. We have brutally hot summers but this one handled the heat just fine. It is mid-October and we are still harvesting bell peppers. Plant was prolific, producing 16-17 bells and was horribly neglected, not getting regular fertilizing once it got hot. Still produced really well!

I don’t know if there was garden error involved but they didn’t make it. I’m thinking they were too cold around germinating and I there was an over watering incident while I was on a long weekend away from home. I also started them too late for my growing season and ended up needing to get starters instead. Better luck next year I hope. I will order earlier because they were sold out when I should have been planting and ordered them when they came back into stock. A few weeks made a big difference!

They've just started to flower and I can't wait to see which colors i get. These seeds made me so confident on growing. Like a light green thumb.
