    Overall enjoyable

I’m pretty happy with this mix overall. I’m limited on space and didn’t know what to expect so I planted it in a relatively shallow planter box that was about 1.5X3 ft. The borage outgrew everything else and then toppled over as it does but attracted a ton of pollinators. I liked those little wild radish pods too. I also got a few zennias cornflowers and a couple nasturtiums out of it. It’s kinda scraggly looking now that it’s in its later stages but I might plant it again a bit thinner next year and also divide it up more as they’re developing. It was pretty fun to try some new edible plants and it dressed up my salads and cocktails for months.

    Hey Rachel,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with our Edible Beauties Flower Mix! It sounds like you had quite the adventure with your planter box garden. We love that the borage attracted tons of pollinators — that's exactly what we hope for! And those little wild radish pods are such a fun surprise, aren't they?

Your insights about planting thinner and dividing things up as they develop are really valuable for other gardeners who might be working with similar space constraints. It's awesome that you got to enjoy fresh additions to your salads and cocktails for months — that's what edible gardening is all about!

Thanks for sharing your honest feedback about the growth patterns and spacing. Every garden is a learning experience, and it sounds like you've got some great plans for next season. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we're so glad you had fun trying new edible plants. Keep on growing 🌻️

This edible beauty mix is interesting. I've never planted from seed before! The majority have sprouted. Mostly it's a lot of borage and arugula. If I knew then what I know now, I would spread the seed MUCH MUCH lighter. Gosh, I also wish I had researched the individual plants before spreading it. I would have likely sorted the seeds a little better. The borage is taking over. I had no idea. Also insane amount of arugula. I've had hoards of grasshoppers and ants this year, but it's still looking good! But I do wish I knew better what I was planting. My bad. Maybe the chickens will eat the greens? We'll see. Wow, I wish I would have thinned it out. I've got a lot of fetchin "Lettuce" growing haha.

Mostly radishes sprouted, so I thinned them a few times to make room for other sprouts. It took a few weeks but now there’s a few basil and borage 1 tiny dill and a few others.

Great germination but mostly radishes, borage and bachelor's buttons. it looked more like weeds than flowers. I will try another mix next time.
