Charming, 1", sky-blue flowers open at dawn on airy and gracefully arching stems. Flowers last one day but are replaced the next morning providing constant color. Plants withstand summer heat, humidity, winter cold, poor soils, drought conditions, and will also grow in part shade. Plant in groups or mix with other wildflowers as effective erosion control. Seeds attract wild birds, and the flowers attract pollinators.

I absolutely love this blue flax and will have it in my gardens forever. The blooms are so gorgeous and it fills in areas that don't have the best soil.
