    Determined to grow these in zone 8 I started these indoors in the fall and planted them outdoors (also in the fall). It worked! South east gardeners, this type of poppy is fantastic!

    These are the first Iceland poppies I’ve been able to grow as they are notoriously difficult and I’m very happy with the results. Lots of colors and after searing great vase life, going strong on 4 days with this white one featured in my mixed arrangement.

    I planted these in late March, right before our last frost. We then had a sustained, torrential downpour. I figured all of these seeds had been washed away or died from being flooded under water for too long. I'm happy to say, some of these seeds have sprouted, and others are starting to bloom. I couldn't be more pleased with Botanical Interests' products. Everything I've bought from them is thriving, despite some pretty bad circumstances.
