This plant will surely attract attention! In late spring, the lovely, blue-green mound of leaves is covered with masses of heavily fringed, edible blooms creating a rainbow of color in white, pink, lilac, and rose that butterflies can't resist. Some flowers may be bicolored or have contrasting eyes or rings. The sweet, flowery scent is often compared to jasmine. The mild-clove-flavored petals make a colorful garnish to salads, desserts, and cold drinks. (The flower's central disk, while edible, can be bitter.) A wonderful choice for an old-fashioned cottage garden, cutting garden, or perennial border.

Was so surprised as I never

From seed grew a plant that essentially grew itself

With no assistance from me whatsoever. A lovely perennial plant with an even more lovely fragrance of bloom.

Highly recommend. Fresh seed sprouted immediately.

I have had great success with Botanical Interest seeds for many years, from bumble bee tomatoes to Cottage Pinks, annuals, perennials and micro greens. I love the selection and reliability and mostly, that i can find them at my local Agway and other garden centers. Although, I have also ordered online. Some people get excited over shoes but seeds are my thing!

I'm a lifelong gardener, but new to starting seeds.

These couldn't be easier! Every seed germinated...or at least so many I couldn't tell a difference. The seedlings are quick growers, 6 weeks in and they're 3" tall and full of leaves... now I wait to see them in bloom!
