This first-year flowering, dwarf echinacea comes in vibrant colors that will light up the garden. The blooms are loved by pollinators, and the seed cones create interest in the winter garden and attract birds. A great fresh or dried cutting flower. Practically care free, echinacea adapts to heat, drought, humidity, and poor soil. This short blend is a nice addition to patio containers. Perennial in USDA zones 3–8.

Happy to add this one to my gardens

I wanted echinacea in the forefront of a narrow bed so this is perfect. It was easy to germinate, high success. And it’s established itself in the driest, toughest spot in my gardens. Looking forward to how it grows over the next few years.

These echinacea were touchy to get going. I had about 75-80% germination (just good seed starter mix, heat pad, and a good light source was all I used). No blossoms year 1, but they are show-stoppers year 2. I will definitely try this one again. Zone 8b, western Washington state. They are worth it. Long bloom time!
