    I love the flowers, but they look completely different from the illustration on the seed packet. My flowers are about 2” tops. Not 4” like the back of the seed packet says. I kind of wonder if the seeds are of a completely different variety? They are tall. But I think there might’ve been a mixup somewhere. So, if you buy this, your flowers may not look like the ones on the seed packet.

    The seeds developed great, we have great stems and leaves but the flowers haven't developed or the few that have budded haven't bloomed yet - and it's already October! I'm hoping to see some blooms before we get a frost. I'm hopeful they'll bloom soon.

    I grew these out from seed for my elderly employer, whose garden I tend. She loves marigolds, and these giant stunners have brought her a lot of joy.

    The germination rate was high, and although some got damaged by grasshoppers, even more grew to little bushes with masses of giant blooms that have her coming up with excuses to go outside and delight in the massive blooms.
