Bachelor's button, also known as "cornflower", is drought tolerant and needs little pampering. Flowers are great for cutting or drying and the edible petals are beautiful sprinkled on a salad. Bachelor's button will "naturalize"; it self-sows for another crop of flowers the following season, and birds love the seed heads! Attracts pollinators and beneficial insects.

I'm not new in gardening, but this is my first time to bought seeds from BI and I have success in planting their free mesclun lettuce and even harvested most of them. The kilimanjaro marigold I bought is now growing indoor and I'm so excited! I will be planting the rest of the seeds this coming spring and I will surely order more from them. I recommended them from my friends and family and they love it as well. You can actually see them growing on my fb/ IG venusvicknair thanks

My Batchelor Buttons have been blooming non-stop for at least a month. Bees and Hummingbirds love them. This is the first time I've grown them, but it won't be the last/

I sow these in the garden in early May and they bloom all through summer until end of July or Early August. They are loved by native bees like the beefly and small moths, The flowers are great for tea after drying. I will follow up as the season progresses.
