Hi - I am not a novice gardener by any means. I currently have 100s of other Gomphrena seeds, 1000s of total seedlings germinating/growing/thriving but this whole package was a disappointment. I had exactly 25 seeds, planted all of them and have 3 that germinated. I have never had this abysmal germination on seed that is fresh bought commercially.

These seeds germinated easily and I planted a dozen plants in my garden in 2025. Unfortunately, the rabbits loved the flowers and stems and ate them down to the ground! I will be trying again this year by putting them in a pot on the deck so I can hopefully get to enjoy them.
