Showy is an understatement when it comes to these bright globes of the summer garden. Not only do they sport bold colors, they add unique texture with their papery blooms. The more you cut, the more they bloom. This colorful blend becomes even more vibrant when pollinators discover it! Flowers last up to 2 weeks in the vase and are perfect for drying. Also known as globe amaranth, the tough plants don't flinch at hot, humid weather or even drought.

    High hopes but disappointed

Hi - I am not a novice gardener by any means. I currently have 100s of other Gomphrena seeds, 1000s of total seedlings germinating/growing/thriving but this whole package was a disappointment. I had exactly 25 seeds, planted all of them and have 3 that germinated. I have never had this abysmal germination on seed that is fresh bought commercially.

    Medium germ rate

I started 12 and had slow germination with only 7 popping up, excited to see these bloom this summer!

    Hey Heather,

Thanks for sharing your experience with our QIS Fiery Sunrise Blend Gomphrena Seeds! While 7 out of 12 isn't the germination rate we'd love to see, we're so glad you still got some beautiful plants started! Gomphrena can sometimes be a bit slower and more particular about germination conditions, but once they get going they're absolutely worth the wait. Those fiery sunset colors are going to be absolutely stunning in your garden this summer! Thank you for choosing us and for taking the time to share your growing experience. Keep on growing 🌻️

    Rabbit Approved

These seeds germinated easily and I planted a dozen plants in my garden in 2025. Unfortunately, the rabbits loved the flowers and stems and ate them down to the ground! I will be trying again this year by putting them in a pot on the deck so I can hopefully get to enjoy them.

    Hey Rebecca,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with our QIS Fiery Sunrise Blend Gomphrena Seeds! We're thrilled to hear that the seeds germinated easily for you - that's always such a great start! We totally understand the frustration with those pesky rabbits though - they definitely have good taste when it comes to beautiful flowers! Your plan to grow them in a pot on the deck this year sounds like a perfect solution. We're confident you'll get to enjoy those gorgeous fiery blooms without any furry competition this time around! Thank you for giving them another try and for sharing your growing experience with us. Keep on growing 🌻️
