Growing Info

Harvesting: When seedlings emerge, the first pair of leaves to show are the cotyledons, which can look very different from the leaves that follow, called "true" leaves. Microgreens are ready to harvest when they have cotyledons, or when the first true leaves have begun to form, depending on preference. Cool growing temperatures may slow the expected amount of days to maturity. Using scissors, cut microgreens just above the soil line when you are ready to use them.

    Hey Ben & J. M.,

What a fantastic review! We're absolutely thrilled to hear that your Mild Mix Microgreens have been such a perfect addition to your salads and sandwiches!

Your growing experience sounds like it went exactly as it should - quick germination and those wonderful greens that make all the difference in fresh meals! There's something so satisfying about microgreens because they deliver that fresh, vibrant flavor and nutrition in such a short timeframe. It's amazing how something so small can pack such a punch when it comes to elevating everyday dishes like salads and sandwiches.

We love that you've found them to be so easy to grow with your grow light setup! Microgreens are such a perfect indoor growing project, especially with lights, because you can have fresh greens year-round regardless of the weather outside. The Mild Mix is such a great choice too because it gives you that nice variety of flavors and textures all in one tray - you get to experience multiple types of greens without having to manage separate plantings.

Your experience really highlights why microgreens have become so popular with home growers - they're quick, reliable, space-efficient, and deliver that fresh taste that makes such a difference in your cooking! Plus, there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of snipping your own fresh greens just minutes before adding them to your meal.

Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful review about both the growing ease and culinary results!

    Keep on growing 🌻️

Seeds came well packaged, can't give 5 stars until I see the germination rates.

I like this microgreens mix. Tastes good and looks nice. It makes my dishes look much fancier! While most seeds germinate around the same time, some are definitely earlier than others. So, I’m not sure if I’ll keep using this mix in the future, or if I’ll experiment with making my own even though that will probably be less cost efficient than buying this mix.
