    Zero germination

I followed the germination instructions exactly. Unfortunately, not a single seed germinated. I typically achieve between 75% and 98% germination. Not sure what happened.

    None have sprouted :(

I planted these on March 13 and none have sprouted so far. I'm still hoping but starting to feel like it's unlikely.

Beautiful Verbena requires TLC and patience

The long wait time for germination of 14-28 days is correct. And the seedling growth was slllllooooooooow the first few weeks after emerging from the soil line. Then, for the last couple weeks I have seen great growth, both height and width-wise. I planted these on Jan 18 and it is now March 25. This was a learning experience and makes me appreciate what I grow so much more. I love verbena and am excited to transplant these out next month. Zone 8B, Washington state. Botanical Interests carries really great seeds and a super variety of flowers.

    Hey Jolea,

We love hearing about your patient journey with the Brazilian Vervain Verbena Seeds! You're absolutely right that they require some TLC and patience - that slow start can definitely test your patience, but it sounds like you're being rewarded now with that great growth spurt. It's so exciting that you're seeing them really take off after those first slow weeks! Your timing from January to transplanting next month is perfect for your zone. We're thrilled you're having such a great learning experience and that it's making you appreciate your growing even more. Verbena is such a beautiful reward for all that patience! Keep on growing 🌻️

    None germinated

I planted in trays both seeds from this and from another pack (from a different seed company, planted at the same time). Not one seed from Botanical Interests germinated, while 90% of the seeds from the other company did. So disappointing.
