This is an excellent perennial here in north Texas. I cut back in the spring and if they get too leggy I cut them back again. Tolerates being moved with plenty of soil attached. Butterflies love it. Very pretty

Brazilian vervain was new to me, as was gardening from seed in general. Took a while to really grow in size, but when it did, there was a bounty of tall stems topped with beautiful, delicate flowers. And the sparse foliage made it a great flower for cutting and throwing into bouquets for myself, family and friends. (Seen here with calendula.)

Everyone who saw the flowers were delighted by them. I may be growing this flower every year from now on!
