If you want a large, majestic marigold, Crackerjack is a superior blend with a mounding form, consistent height, and sturdy flower stalks. The 4" blooms in tangerine orange, rich gold, and lemony yellow will brighten up your flower bed, path edges, and large container plantings. They make radiant, long-lasting cut flowers and are so easy to grow from seed. African Marigold petals are edible with a slightly bitter, citrusy/spice flavor. They make a pretty garnish on rice, salads, or desserts. For a dazzling contrast, plant next to blue or dark purple flowers. Be prepared for butterflies to visit!

Great germination rate. However, the three plants are all different from each other! One has the beautiful blooms as shown on the seed packet, one has zero buds even now, and the other has flowers, but they are not like the others (more scraggly.) There is another review here suggesting a similar problem, so I know I'm not alone. I've attached photos for reference. Curious what might be going on!

I just love how big and full these grew for me . The orange color and fluffiness are just perfect.

I love the flowers, but they look completely different from the illustration on the seed packet. My flowers are about 2” tops. Not 4” like the back of the seed packet says. I kind of wonder if the seeds are of a completely different variety? They are tall. But I think there might’ve been a mixup somewhere. So, if you buy this, your flowers may not look like the ones on the seed packet.

The seeds developed great, we have great stems and leaves but the flowers haven't developed or the few that have budded haven't bloomed yet - and it's already October! I'm hoping to see some blooms before we get a frost. I'm hopeful they'll bloom soon.

They have not produced flowers yet but it’s only been 19 days and they’ve grown so much already ❤️
